Lecture/Round table discussion
As part of Setmanes d'Arquitectura 2025, IAAC is hosting a round table exploring the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in architecture and the built environment.
From predictive modeling for energy efficiency and climate adaptation to real-time carbon analytics, generative design, and material optimization, AI is revolutionizing how architects approach sustainability and resilience.
The discussion will highlight cutting-edge AI-driven tools for simulating microclimates, optimizing building performance, and fostering participatory design through immersive technologies like AR and VR. Experts will explore AI's application in Urban Tech, Smart Construction, and Natural Ecosystems, with a focus on achieving carbon-neutral buildings, regenerative design, and collaborative innovation.
This session will critically examine the opportunities and challenges of integrating AI into architecture, addressing ethical considerations, creative possibilities, and the evolving role of the architect in the age of AI.
