THOR | TRAY

Continue from last semester, this term is to focus on designing a new module which can aggregate in different ways yet provide a function for both the dog, Thor and his owner, Gustavo. With one design module that can be adapted in different axis, it would reduce the production time and provide a easy assemble and disassemble system.

 MODULE AGGREGATION

The design consists of 2 phases. First, the lower part, is constructed for the food and water trays. The bowls are elevated above ground level in order to fit THOR’s posture. While the upper part, by integrating the 3D printing modules, it provides the shelves for his owner, Gustavo, to put glass , bottle or tiny devices.

MULTIFUNCTIONAL JIG

The jig was designed to drill the holes for the module with a precise location. The jig can be adapted functionally in specific points since each module needs to drill on 2 opposite surfaces.
