Since our cities became huge consuming machines they also turned into gigantic wastes producers. E-wastes are one of the biggest issue of the recycling field for the 21st century.

The monumental effect project aims to take advantage of the specific features of the arena in order to fit, inside the old building, a smart and didactic recovering area. Collected E-wastes are all brought in the analysis level of the recovering station where we can determine the recovering potential of the used device. Then the object is oriented in a suitable stream, to be updated, blanked, fixed, or teared down to collect re usable elements, components or material. Falling down allong an unregular spiral shape, the content of devices is recovered to be implemented into 4 fablabs placed at the end of each material stream : plastic, glass, metal and electronic component.
