Designing comprises of multiple systems at different scales, from the larger scale of the city to the smaller scale of elements of a building. We, at the Advanced Algorithmic design studio, explore different scales through our projects RE{CODE}, City Loop, Vedic algorithmic design, and Decode Puuc.

/Aim
To develop a computational tool that generates optimized floor plan options primarily on the principles of ‘Vastu Shastra’ to maximize thermal comfort and energy efficiency
/Objective
- To evaluate the principles of Vastu Shastra with the practices of today’s contemporary architecture and techniques to achieve energy efficiency.
- To translate design principles into quantifiable data as input parameters for the tool.
- To provide floor plan options that are compliant with the design principles of Vastu.
