TESSELATION

OVERVIEW

“Tesselation” is a project developed as the final task for Introduction to Programming and Physical Computing. The project addresses the severity of air pollution and its harmful effects when inhaled. The façade envisioned in this project responds to the air pollution by detecting the air quality and rise in temperature by means of MQ135 and DHT11 sensors. Hence, whenever a harmful gas is detected or when the temperature is high, the RGB led turns red and Servo motor (actuator) initiates an open-close system of the panel whose design is inspired by origami.
