HexWood is a project developed to design pre-programmed timber laminates. Each laminate has been programmed to achieve varied geometries. These can be controlled in terms of bending and twisting with the help of simple actuation.

Various geometries have been optimized and tested to achieve different bending curves and twisting of the timber laminates.


This is a project developed in IaaC for Computational Design (MAA01 2017-18).
