Pixelona’  proposes the possibility and opportunity to regenerate and enrich one of Barcelona’s industrial waterfronts – Littoral Morrot – through the following strategies: 

Placemaking – in terms of identity and diversity of spatial characteristics and functions;

Connectivity –in terms of legible pedestrian movement, 

Accessibility and permeability – introducing ‘new ground levels’ between activity cores and public transport nodes; 

Land-water interface -by augmenting the waterfront edge through interconnecting and user-friendly amenities
