DECODING PARAMETRIC FACADE:

This assignment aims at decoding and setting up a logical and hierarchical computational strategy for an existing façade system. The reference façade selected for this exercise is
ArboSkin Pavilion by ITKE.

Step by step:

• A curve is drawn or selected for the desired geometry to be generated on

• Perpendicular frames are generated on the curve

• Different sizes of circles are created on these planes and cut in half

• Curves are lofted to create a surface

• Triangle panels are generated on the surface

• Triangle frames are gathered from the panels

• Depending on two attractor points, frames are resized

• Resized frames are moved away from their normals and lofted with the previous frames

• Surfaces are joined and thickened
