Mies Van der Apocalypse// Recursive Geometries

The purpose of this assignment was to create an installation in the Mies Van der Rohe pavilion, using the Grasshopper plug-in, Anemone, as the main tool. The scenario I have imagined for this assignment is a post-apocaliptyc future where a devastating war has completely destoryed our civilization. Not even this Architectural Master piece has been saved from the cathastrophic downfall. The wall and the floor are completely cracked. Disgusting mushrooms, chemically mutated from the nuclear atmosphere , blossom through the cracks. Stone piles represent the memory of the brave warriores,. These piles will remain as a timeless reference. However, new life grows. Fragile sapling are a promising sign of a new begining.
