 Cut Time – 1 hour 30 minutes

We started of our design with an idea of creating simple kerf bending pattern with manipulations of engraving and cutting. There are 3 components in our design; main component, secondary component and locking component. Secondary components are the fins that are created so that the joinery is not very obviously visible. The form of the lamp is transformed by manipulating a trapezoid and inducing a concave form in it. The play of shadow and light that is formed is interesting because of the uniform pattern and curve manipulations.
