Computational Design | Assignment 02

Urban facades or screens regularly contain interesting variations due to allowed deformations of repeated elements posing challenges to state-of-the-art facade analysis algorithms. The interactive screen interacts with its neighboring environment as an active element; therefore it is unreasonable to conceive the facade or screen as merely a dividing entity between the interior and the exterior. The envelope system of smart building can dynamically improve dwelling conditions by intelligently reacting to climate changes. By synchronizing both virtual and physical models, the design state of the change or improve simultaneously. The assignment follows the design process and performance of the facade using animation with the help of grasshopper.
