Concept

For a specific fish breed, a fish tank habitat is created. They need fixed oxygen in the water to live. To preserve that amount, the tank needs a specific amount of depth. If the level reaches the minimum the distance sensor will be activated to detect fishes that swim close to the surface.

With a water depth sensor, the water level will be observed, if levels go down and reach the limit that set, the distance sensor will be on and start to detect fishes getting closer to the water surface. when the amount limit is exceeded, the dc motor will be on and give the warning to refill the tank to create ideal habitat.

Next Steps

The system can be integrated with other components to create a more holistic approach for assessing wildlife habitat. For example, air quality or temperature sensors on larger scales would allow you consider the needs of bird species as well!
