CONSTRAINED CO2 SENSOR

perniyal.waseem

PROJECT ABSTRACT

Various experiments require to be kept at a steady level where the shift in the level could not only compromise the reading but also add the arduous task of sifting through the readings.

This project records the CO2 levels at a straight angle and when tilted prompts the “Don’t tilt” message and stops recording as well. Using this it will be possible to optimize the workflow for the said projects.

COMPONENTS

The following components were used to form the board for this project:

01 – Arduino Uno
02 – Breadboard
03 – USB cable
04 – Jumper Wires
05 – Potentiometer
06 – Resistor
07 – Tilt Sensor
08 – Air Quality Sensor
09 – LCD Display

FUTURE WORK

Future work on the project would include a more accurate tilt angle sensing and would also include more actuators to have a more sonic and graphic means to know when the shift needs to be rectified. Furthermore an addition of the stepper motor that activates at a certain angle (beyond which the experiment readings would be considered unusable) to straighten the workspace once again.

Constrained CO2 Sensor is a project of IAAC, Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia at Master in Advanced Architecture in 2021/2022 by Student: Perniyal Waseem; Faculty: Bernat Morato; Faculty Assistant: Daniil Koshelyuk
