Introduction.

The basic framework of my project is non gravitational matter: flow of air and water. More precisely, non gravitational climatic matter is climatic variation due to water or air, examples water wells water or air refrigeration, applying this formal research to existing vernacular models of cooling due to airflow or water flow. Developing and organising non gravitational matter by suspending matter on water. The agenda is pure process. The language is geometry. The contest is underwater.

Strategy has 3 parts.

The first part is Research.

Abstraction is the instrument that forms personal preferences. Research Framework is based on different topics: art, architecture, computation, science ect.

The second part is Experimenting and Prototyping.

This part contains experimenting and identification how different materials react to each other and what result they make. This part is mainly based on experiments in the water and peace of art which can be a goal to achieve.   Selected material will be preliminary objectives. In my case it is Oil, Water and Ink.

I tired to understand the behaviour of ink drops in the oil and how they attract each other and is there any logic in it. As a basis i took 3 simple geometrical forms: Line, Triangle, Square.

Behaviour of 2 drops of the ink in non gravitational space.

Behaviour of 3 drops of the ink in non gravitational space.

Behaviour of 4 drops of the ink in non gravitational space.

In the end of this Stage i found a certain system how they interact with each other.

The third part is Translation into 2d dimentions.

In this part has to be concentrate on topics as Spherification in computing and Sphere paking. These case studies give an opportunity to make a transaction to 2d dimension and later on have possibility to use it for architectural purposes.

Translation into 2d drawing. Geometrical form – line.

Adding the zone of attraction. Geometrical form – line.

Adding the zone of influence. Geometrical form – line.

Translation into 2d drawing. Geometrical form – triangle.

Adding the zone of attraction. Geometrical form – triangle.

Adding the zone of influence

Adding the zone of influence. Geometrical form – line.

Translation into 2d drawing. Geometrical form – square.

Adding the zone of attraction. Geometrical form – square.

Adding the zone of influence. Geometrical form – square.

After finding the system in simple case the next step was apply it to more complex system. According to the experiments was revealed that when we have more than 5 drops together they start to merge.

These 3 steps give you an understanding of the whole process, what is very important for invention quality work which is starts with abstraction and ends with a real form.

All work that have been done gives a good base for continue research and apply it to architectural puposes.
