“Cities are about vision and service. Politics are about vision and service. First we have dreams, later on we generate ideas, that mingled with life, create historical events. The greatest achievement of mankind is individual and collective freedom. Government of the people, by the people, for the people… that have found in the city the pace to yield and deliver. Now, after a XXth century that tried so hard to get rid of liberalism and representative democracy, are cities prepared to deliver? Are architects, lawyers, civil servants, doctors, professors, carpenters, house maidens, students, trade unionists, and so on, ready to understand what the quest of the city is about? This master class will be proposed as a two way conversation, working on the main political challenges of modern societies.”
