Responsive Facade Animation in Grasshopper for Computational Design

The Tunnel consists of three major parameter

1.Sine Curves 2. Extruding Pyramids 3. Responsive Surface Panels

The Process

Initial Tunnel Form

Creating Triangular Surface Panels for Parametric movement

Sine Curves : Varying form

Intrude and Extrude : Pyramidal Geometry (heating and contraction)

Panels Responsive to the Sun movement each day (closed in the afternoon and opened up at evenings/night).

Horster script for animation

Probable geometry and physical form manipulations with the three main parameters
