IAAC Taking Part to the Opening of the first Biennale d'Architecture d'Orléans

IAAC Advanced Architecture Group will take part to the symposium “News from Research: Cartography of Architectural Research” this Friday October 13th in Orleans, in the framework of the Opening of the first Biennale d’Architecture d’Orléans curated by Abdelkader Damani and Luca Galofaro.

This international school symposium will be the starting point of a new research platform, that the Frac Centre-Val de Loire is initiating during the Biennale, supporting the collection, on one hand, and the artistic and cultural programming of the institution, on the other.

IAAC is among the schools invited to the symposium, together with the Southern California Institute of Architecture, Los Angeles, the Cooper Union, School of Architecture, NYC to name a few.

IAAC Academic Director Areti Markopoulou will take part to the discussion panel “A new architectural sensitivity : an architecture of resistance” debating on which collaborations are possible between research and construction industry. Together with her Arnoldo Rivkin – UNLAM Argentine, Maria Giudici- RCA London and AA London and Nader Therani – Cooper Union, moderated by Christian Dautel.
