SERENE

The fifth assignment of Computational Design explores artificial evolutionary design. The design brief was to have an interactive multiple criteria search which may change from project to project.

Serene is a system which can be later used upon any facade system. For which we picked the criteria to minimize or maximize the radiation and sunlight hours on the facade depending upon each month. The collected data became the input for machine learning.

By using machine learning, we don’t need to optimize the system in the future. The resulting output data from machine learning becomes the input for the facade meshes, giving the best solution.
