Processing+Arduino

Introduction:

A new software was introduced in the class named as Arduino to connect circuits and other system with the kit developed by massimo from Italy and David from United States who developed this amazing small board named as “Arduino Uno” which helps in developin many small circuits which eventually can be multiplied by using many of the similar components. Lately the circuit for reading live Temperature and humidity data was made. This Circuit was developed during the assignment as the reading of live temperature and humidity was required in the studio as our topic was crystallization where a temperature data recording was required were it shows at what precise temperature the evaporation starts turning into the crystals.

Procedure:

Assignment : 1 – Exploring Processing

  1. This exercise was just of developing skills on how the processing software and C++ Language can do as an animation.
  2. Here, a sample script was taught during the class from which using the sample individual students had to redevelop the script to understand how the language plays the role in animating designs.
  3. A script was created where random triangles will move and duplicate themselves making a layered pattern using a “If” loop.

Assignement : 2 – Ping Pong Game With Potentiometer

  1. During this part of assignment the students where asked to combine arduino with processing.
  2. Here, a sample script was taught during the class from which using the sample individual students had to redevelop the script to understand how the language plays the role in animating designs.
  3. To create this game potentiometer acts as a remote to play with the slider. A Script was written where the Ball hits the Slider and bounces back.
