THE PSEUDO CODE

1. Draw a rectangle in Rhino.
2. Create a skewed quads frame based on the rectangle by lunch box.

3. Create a graft tree for all the panels, generate their central points.
4. Link the central points to each vertexes of their panels.
5. Use “Catenary” to create curves between central points and vertexes, Set a alterable proportion between the curves’ length and the connecting lines’ length. The gravity is perpendicular to the connecting lines.
6. Use “mirror” to get the other half of the graph. Generate petals’ surface by “boundary surfaces”.
7. Set a alterable thickness of the petals.
8. Move three petals of one unit along a vector perpendicular to the surface. The distance is a sequence of 0, thickness, two times thickness.
9. Make the petals a little bit bigger by “scale”. Extrude them by the thickness.

10. Create rings base on the grid points and the central points of skew lines. And extrude them two times thickness.
11. Change the shape of rectangle. Bend the surface.

Final Image1

Standard petals’ shape, density and thickness.

Final Iamge2:

Different proportion between curves’ length and linking lines’ length. Generate petals’ shape.

Final Image3:

Change the density and the thickness of the facade.
