Kinectic Migrations

The exercise consisted in merging two different self-interest topics and generate a device to study and respond to these two phenomena. In this case study abstract Kinetic Art and Human Migration was chosen. We studied whether it should be a new plastic language or whether it should be something inserted in a context of current migration. The first problem was the lack of existence of kinetic art that reflected a figurative content. There are artistic expressions that speak in an abstract language lines, geometric shapes, etc., but not about human subjects or understandable content. The second problem to be addressed is the apathy of the people about the problem of current human migrations, its causes and consequences. These problems are usually seen in traditional media, social networks, etc, and this generates a custom and a limit on how a problem is transmitted. By observing the different media, languages ??and results in the current way of communicating these two phenomena, we find some gaps and points that can be connected via a single architectural action that is useful. We made a box of 3 x 3 x 3m panels comprised between 10 and 80 cm wide, which contained images of Wrod Press Photo of 2015- 2016 was established by expressing different realities.
