INTERLINK

Genetic Optimization
Computational Design // Assignment 4
The aim of this project is to reimagine the topology and usage of the public squares in our urban spaces. The intervention proposes the integration of layered urban landscapes and vegetation, as well as immersive structures, canopies, bridges and new circulation routes in those squares. To achieve this, the landscape is optimized based on circulation patterns and sunlight exposure areas maximization. The pavilion generates new public interaction opportunities and is designed around access nodes parameters as well as volume variables.
