Inside Out

Inside out is an interactive modelling exercise carried out by using Kangaroo components on Grasshopper. The exercise can be briefly described as, adding forces to a square box of 10x10x10. There are 5 geometrical variables that control the different iterations of this box. Grid size of the box, number of anchor points from the sphere, density of the mesh, thickness added to the output mesh and inflation value.

The box iterates by moving the inside faces out and forming a different geometry every time these 5 factors are changed. The sphere inside the box projects anchor points depending on the number of segments it is divided into. These anchor point in turn control the outcome of the geometry with the combined forces.
