Forces of Nature: Gufa

Assignment Brief: The aim of this assignment will be to create an live-interactive installation using forces as parameters using Kangaroo as main engine. The main goal will be to build a simple interface where the user can “play” with inputs such as attractors, sliders, functions and time to transform an object in space. The selected location for the installation will be the IaaC rooftop area.

Introduction:

Taking form finding inspiration from Hussain doshi’s Gufa i have designed iaac pavillion using different geometrical grids as base.

Form Finding Catalog:

Key factors for Iterations:

Point load variations in inner vertices, Anchor Strength Variations for Outer vertices and Length strength variations for overall mesh .

And also used different geometrical bases for more iterations and better understanding.
