FORCES OF NATURE

The exercise dealt with creating an interactive pavilion on the terrace of IAAC Main building.

Using the terrace perimeter to create an array of tensile members which open in the alternate direction.

Hence, creating an effect of DhobiGhat which is a resemblance of a place for hanging clothes on the rope.

Concept

Creating a series of tensile members creates a maze-like pavilion which has clear views to the sides and up but not in front or back.
