The project Beehive Tower is a watchtower located in the forest, with seven floors that look out to the forest at different heights, offering different views to the wild nature.  As its name implies, its facade is composed of hexagonal units, whose natural and organic form is well-integrated with the site. Held together by customized metal connectors, the hexagonal units made from glulam allow the flexibility of free form structure and brings transparency between the interior and exterior.

The thickness of the glulam hexagonal units increases towards the concrete base of the structure, giving it more rigidity and stability. One enters the concrete base, welcomed by the ladders leading up to different floors. The climbing experience inside the tower echoes with the rustic beauty of the forest.
