GRASSHOPPER
[Definition]

CONCEPT

The project starts with a voxels' population placed on top of the existing buildings. These voxels represent
self sufficient capsules. A circulation path is designed to run through the mass, and repulsion points are 
generated on it. These points remove voxels from the total mass around them, creating open public spaces.
The rest of the voxels touching the circulation path, are considered closed public spaces (co-working areas),
represented in magenta colour, whereas the cyan voxels are residential areas. Next step is to run a ladybug
sunlight hours analysis for the faces of the voxels surrounding the open public spaces.

BIOMORPHER & SELF ORGANIZING MAP
[Evolutionary Solver] 

Using Biomorpher we generate a population of different solutions. The genomes introduced are: 
The number of repulsion points, the radius of influence of the points and their position.


 
Galapagos
[Optimization Solver]

Later in Galapagos, we are optimizing the final result using the same genomes and adding as fitness
values the open public space area (maximized), the number of capsules that are removed (minimized), the 
total area of residential spaces(maximized) and the sunlight hours in the open public space(maximized).
