BEYOND TIME is a science research center located in the Mojave Desert, California. Its mission is to serve as a center for research, learning, and technology about Mars. It also serves as a closed biosphere to explore human interaction, the relation between nature, farming, technology, and architecture, and the viability of the system to support human life in Mars.

Silkworm (Bombyx mori) is the caterpillar of the Silk Moth. The practice of breeding silkworms to produce raw silk is known as sericulture.

HOW DOES THE SYSTEM WORK?

Closed-loop System: self-sufficient closed ecosystem that does not rely on matter exchange with any part outside of the it.
