CONCEPT

The focus of this assignment has been the Mies van der Rohe pavilion in Barcelona. The goal was to create a new architectural element for the pavilion, using recursive growth. The southwestern wall of the pavilion stretches along the open pool, which was used as an area of intervension for the project.  The design intent was to imitate water surface movement with the recursive algorithm based on differential line growth.
