BRIEF

The project aims to create an installation in the external area of Mies van der Rohe’s Barcelona pavilion by applying recursive systems.

Specifically, the architectural installation originates from the stretch of water located in the pavilion’s outer part. From a formal point of view, the installation aims to contrast the linear architecture characteristic of Mies van der Rohe’s architecture and this pavilion in particular. From a functional point of view, on the other hand, its purpose is to create shaded zones in the area outside the pavilion adjacent to the bench.
