Here we are thinking and designing an experimental structures (or a shelter) according to scenario that we all live in the year of 2100. The world is full of garbage and waste. Most of the principal resources are unreachable and people have to survive in that period ,they need a shelter to live in. So that, as designers we are asked to find any materials, any waste that can be used for generating components and can be created structure which covers 2 people’ basic living environment in that period.

Most seemly, straws are only used once and are thrown out.It is so abundant material in terms of waste. In our project, this is accepted as one of the major advantages.

Methodology

-Joining end to end,

-Weaving them,

-Aggregating them,

These methods has been used to obtain more solid structural element.

For instance, some different variations and geometries were tried in the first session.

After all, we received feedback that different geometries should be generated and tested for the next session.
Also the idea of creating component by weaving one single straw will be focused on.
