The project’s target was to design an acoustic panel that could work with both absorbtion and expansion of the sounds. For this reason, the materials of the panel were cork and plywood.

/THE SHAPE

The circular void at the top layer is the bigger one because its closer position to the CNC machines, that are the main source of noise. At the center of those shapes there are two emergences which work well with the sound absorbtion. The hierarchy of the dimensions is again due to the distance of the CNCs.
