IAAC Academic Director Areti Markopoulou was among the experts invited to take part to the Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners‘ workshop on urban regeneration, hold in Madrid last March.

The aim of the meeting was to share the experiences of urban regeneration projects from all over the world, to put on the table new ideas for the elaboration of the new master plan for the North of Madrid.

Areti Markopoulou, was invited as a specialist in digital technologies applied to urbanism and new city models, and for her collaboration with the Barcelona City Council in the design of several urban projects.
