Brain is what it is because of structural and functional properties of interconnected neurons. Neuron partly consists of an electrically excitable output fibre, the axon of which rises to many smaller branches before ending to nerve terminals. Synapses, the Greek word (σύναψις) ”to clasp together”, are the contact points where one neuron communicates with another. These conections, make us feel, understand and create emotions depending on the stimulus we get.
We can say that human brain works like a computer, or even like the web, creating links (synapses) to define data. One can wonder what is the nature of this human made brain, managing digital info?

I am from now member of Las Ramblas group.
Below are some notes from from my book concerning the spatial occupations on Las Ramblas.
Scheme 1, sketch of the plant selling and the artesany permanent stands.
Sketches of the changing occupations along Las Ramblas. Cafeterias, kiosks, performers are attracting passing people that gather around, creating variable spaces and passages changing constantly as time passes.
