For the logistics transportation networks for the cities of Nicosia, Barcelona, Warsaw and Seoul, we tried to analyze the distribution of products in storage places and the relation with the consumer in terms of distance; and the time, distance and speed covered to reach these points from the city center.  These diagrams can be used as tools to analyze the product distribution and transportation, therefore choosing the best storage points in the city, in terms of best distance and speed coverage from the preferable point of consumption (which can be other than the city center).

These are our final diagrams concerning the Logistics Transportation Networks of Nicosia, Barcelona, Warsaw and Seoul.

urban habitat_key questions

Three points to start with relation with the urban habit. 1. What will be the Transportation within the city in different scale? 2. The density of population in different scale 3. The environmental consideration

In the developed of city there are maintained the essential aspects of the urban model, although in some of the cases were maximized the conditions that permitted its economical viability, losing its original and innovative values regarding to the supportive and sustainable nature of the model. A healthy urbanism to optimize conditions for existence and the distribution of the functioning of areas within the city will be mainly considered. City is divided central urban, common habitat, public green areas.

First of all the city is classified in to Regional, District (or city unit), and neighbourhood which are defined by its size (m2 or ha) and population. The actual area and population of the unit is not decisive however the division will be considered based on the concept of the distribution; Distribution of green areas, roads and energy.

Another main concern is the transportation of the city. Within the different scale of the city administrative division proper or efficient means of transportation will be suggested. The coexistence of pedestrians and cars, the multiplicity of architectural typologies to build the city, the complexity as an urban attribute, the periphery as the landscape of the contemporary city, etc, were the purposes of the plan. The basic idea is to maintain the certain amount of transportation within the city boundaries. Public transportation is suggested to the habitants and for the foreign vehicles will be controlled in buffering zones placed in between the city and other cities. The fluency of transportation will be measured with percentage of the total constructed area.

The environment is another issue that could be dealt with when planning process. Agricultural and public areas are included in the green space which is measured in the unit of m2/person. Like the system proposed by Andres Perea in the project of New Multi-Functional Administrative City, Korea, the green is placed in the center part of the city surrounded by the urban area where are the administrative offices, infrastructures and economical activity is placed. Also, within the city green energy vehicles will be mandatory and other pollution causing transportation will not be allowed.

In addition to that the cultural events or activities could be considered based on the cultural varieties where the city would be placed. Actually I would like to focus more on the users of the city however it is not an easy task to find the connection between the cities DNA or basic elements with the cultural diversity.
